The New Jersey Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists

Walter Frank Award

Walter H. Frank, CO, Honorary New Jersey Practitioner & Humanitarian Award

The Board of Directors of the New Jersey chapter of the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics (NJAAOP) has assumed the responsibility to provide education to healthcare practitioners involved in orthotic, prosthetic and pedorthic patient services.

Practitioners within our field greatly impact the lives of those they serve. Also, the significant efforts of these professionals and their patients influence how our society views challenged individuals. So, to reward these efforts and ensure further excellence, the NJAAOP has created a method to annually recognize this greatness that all of us possess.

To express their gratitude to those who have met these challenges, the NJAAOP will present them with the Walter H. Frank, CO, Honorary Practitioner Award. This award will identify and reward the most dedicated individuals who provide orthotic, prosthetic or pedorthic services to the residents of New Jersey.

The NJAAOP wishes to recognize them as outstanding individuals, practitioners with noble goals who excel to provide humanitarian services.
